GLAMA Nomination for Best debut

Richard Milne, WXRT-Chicago
Named TOP 5 debut albums for 1999.

Dan Kening - Chicago Tribune Metromix
"The 12 tunes here are amazingly disparate, from ballsy, horned-fueled rockers ("Crash Bang Boom!") to lovely, sensitive acoustic numbers ("Homefires", "Bigger") that showcase her passionate vocals and intelligent (and often ironic) lyrics."

Mark Guarino - Daily Herald
"The title folk rock number flexes maximum confidence while "Crash, Bang, Boom!" is punched up by the Poi Dog horn section, allowing Rosner her finest vocal work..."

WRUW-Cleveland
"It's bold, brassy, smart and funny. The CD displays cleverly written lyrics, and the bold vocals add a pleasing punch to the tunes."
